Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

The beloved author Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel) was born March 2, 1904. His 60+ stories are admired and enjoyed by children and adults still today. I just love his humorous rhymes and outlooks. His works can make you laugh, make you think, make you cry. Don't even get me started on his illustrations. They were fantastic! The characters and colors are so fun visually that you just can't help to love 'em.

In honor of Dr. Seuss my kids and I will be reading his books this week. We don't have them all but someday I'd like to! Tonight we'll be honoring one of my favorites "Horton Hears a Who". I'll post our fun later or tomorrow. We might even have to watch the movie again. I loved it!

Why not head to the library and revisit a Dr. Seuss classic too! You know you want to!
