Every year we head up to Copper Basin to gather firewood but this year was unique. It's the first year I rode up on the motorbike with Eric the whole 50 miles up to the canyon. Can you say, "Ouch, my butt hurts!" I haven't been on the motorbike at all this summer and then to ride that long was a little painful. Turns out the pain was worth it though when Eric spotted a beaver on the way. Isn't he cute!
We got about 10 to 12 feet away from him. I'm suprised he swam so close. He finally spotted us and swum back to his home. I love being out in nature and enjoying the beautiful mountains, flowers and wildlife. Call me crazy but even a trip that we're working hard is nice just because we get out and enjoy the outdoors!
