All the rain that we have been getting for weeks has been awesome! Sure I complained that they postponed t-ball for two weeks and the weeds are starting to grow higher than our baby trees but now we have water running through the river in our backyard! I hope it runs all summer long.
One of the kids favorite summer activities is throwing rocks in the river. They'd stay there for hours if I let 'em. Yet, there's only so many times mommy can say "wow" at another splash in the river before she's ready to go. We had a blast and we're waiting for another rain free night to go play some more.

Oh, how fun to live so close to the river! Is it the kind of river you can swim in? That would be prime in the summer!
