I haven't been a very good blogger lately I'll admit. Life has just been cruising by WAY too fast. I also haven't felt good for a long time so I haven't felt like doing anything. The last thing I did fun was go to my cousin Kaitlyn's school play "Bugsy Malone". There were only two middle graders in the play and she was one of them. I think she had a blast associating with the high school crowd.
Kaitlyn was pretty excited to have my kids there. She even took Carlee backstage to show her around.
Carlee was snuggling with grandma Tina before the show. I wasn't sure if she would hold still for the whole show but she did awesome. She was swaying to the music, clapping and cheering. The only thing she didn't like was when the cast shot silly string at us. She was pretty freaked out but Collin thought it was hilarious. After the show was over he kept picking up the remains to throw at his mama.
Collin and grandma Brewer got to sit at the V.I.P. table. They were served sodas and the dancing girls came and sat with them after a couple scenes. Do you think Collin liked that? Ummm....yeah.
I didn't get very good pictures since they wouldn't let us use flash photography during the show. The actors posed for some shots after the show though so I got a few lame ones. There was always someone in my way!
Kaitlyn is quite the little diva actress already. I'd love to see her in another one! I just can't believe my Kaitlyn is in middle school already. (I'm sure her mom can't believe it either!) I want her to stay young!! It's been fun seeing her grow up though and she'll always have a special place in my heart and the hearts of my children. We love her so much!
