This past weekend was all about family. I was lucky to be able to spend time with both my side and Eric's side of the family all at once! First of all it was my father-in-law's birthday. Secondly it was the first weekend of three that my little brother was home from Florida so I got my other two brothers to come home too!
My nephew Alec and Collin were OBSESSED with playing Super Smash Brothers on the Wii. Alec didn't even stop when my brother Mark and the other kids all went to the park. Yeah, I think he liked it.
My sister-in-law Liz, me, and my three brothers JoMax, Ryan, and Mark all played a little Hokey Six. I haven't played in probably over 10 years so it took me awhile to get back into the rhythm of a fast paced card game.
Here's my beautiful cousin Kaitlyn with Carlee. How cute are they!
My mom snuck a pic of my lovely cousin Dee. She was playing with her new phone she got for her birthday. I'd love a new phone too!
This is grandma Brewer, Eric, uncle Steven (though you can't see him), aunt Tauna, the birthday boy Larry, and my cousin Matt.
Yummy! This is the ice cream cake my mom and I put together for Larry. Aren't the little chocolate tools cute!
It was a long process of layering and freezing but definitely worth it! Yum! I'll have to post the tutorial on my food blog when I get a chance.
My mother-in-law Tina was gracious enough to take a picture of my parents, bros, plus the sister-in-law and nephew all together in my living room. It's been a LONG time since we've all been together for a picture.
Carlee couldn't resist sneaking her uncle Mark a hug. She absolutely adores him!
