Out of the mailbox

I love checking the mail. There I said it. I just find it exciting to pull up to the mailbox and see what mystery will be there waiting for me. Will it be a fun recipe book? A clothes magazine? A vacation guide? (Which by the way are SO fun to look at even though I'll probably never visit most of them.) Of course I don't like seeing the bills though. :( Bleh!

Lately I had two exciting packages in the mailbox. The first one was some yummy popcorn and an organization book in a cute Orville Redenbacher bowl.

I can't even remember now which site I got this from but I'm happy I won! They must have known that I am in serious need of a little organization help. I'll have to read it soon. I need to get rid of a lot of stuff I hold onto. It's ridiculous really. Plus the popcorn was heaven sent. The kids and I are huge popcorn fans!

The second package was from the author Heather Moore. I was REALLY excited to get this one. I've only read one of her books titled Abinadi but it was fantastic! If you haven't read it yet then get it. Heather has such a delightful way of bringing her characters to life. She is truly one of the best historical fiction writers I've read.

I can't wait to curl up with Of Goodly Parents late at night. Thanks so much for sending this to me! I love good mail!
